Delegation of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro is going to visit NATO HQ, SHAPE and Atlantic Treaty Association HQ in Brussels
Ten delegates of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro will participate in study tour in Brussels on January, 22 - 25, 2012. During the visit the opinion formers from Montenegro will visit NATO HQ, SHAPE as well as ATA HQ.

Atlantic Council of Montenegro Assembly
According to the Article 12th and 16th of the Statute, President of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro convenes the Assembly of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro which will be held on January 17, 2012 starting at 12:00 p.m.
For the Assembly meeting the following Agenda is suggested:
- 1. YATA President election
- 2. YATA Vice-President election
- 3. Amendments to the Statute
- 4. Other

Seminar "Democratic Control of Armed Forces and the Implementation of the OSCE's Code of Conduct on Politico-Military Aspects of Security"
Seminar under the title „Democratic Control of Armed Forces and the Implementation of the OSCE’s Code of Conduct on Politico-Military Aspects of Security” was held December, 15-16, in Budva. On behalf of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro seminar attended Ms. Bojana Antunović.
The Seminar was organized by the Security and Defense Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro and OSCE Mission to Montenegro with the support of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Centre (CPC) in Vienna and the Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), Geneva.

Atlantic Council of Montenegro celebrated 5th Anniversary
The celebration of the 5th Anniversary of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro took place on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the hotel “Montenegro” in Podgorica which was attended by numerous officials and representatives of the diplomatic corps of Montenegro.
The guest had the opportunity to follow a program which was organized by young members of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro. On this occasion speakers were:
• Mr. Savo Kentera, the President of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro
• Mr. Duško Marković, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice
• H.E. Sue K. Brown, U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro
• Mrs. Dragana Marković, President of YATA Montenegro

ROUND TABLE”ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND NATO”
The representative of Atlantic Council of Montenegro Mr. Davor Mladic attended the round table on “Environmental Protection and NATO” which was held on November 30th, in multi-media hall of the Ministry of sustainable development and Tourism in Podgorica. The event is organized by the Government of Montenegro and Agency for Environmental Protection. The round table was attended by large number of officials from relevant ministries, institutes and from the NGO sector.
